The Evolution of Consciousness
Understanding How we Grow and Transform
“What is wrong with people?!? How can they hold the beliefs that they hold?!? How can they, in good conscience, continue to vote and support these people and their politics?!?” Ever heard yourself or others say (or scream) these words? In most cases our infuriated frustration stems from a shared flaw in human design, what teachers have called: “The Myth of The Given.” It refers to the assumption most of
us make that there is a given reality out there, the perception and understanding of which is universal.
In other words, we assume that the world and the reality we perceive is the same world and reality everyone else perceives. But is it? Through this transformative course – using Integral Theory and the work of Spiral Dynamics – Rabbi
Olivier will challenge our assumptions, invite us to deconstruct this myth and help us unpack how our consciousness evolves both individually and universally as a gorgeous multicolored spectrum. It might just help us make sense of our national and global political moment. Most critically for us, however, it might just change everything.
Who should take this course? Everyone. Seriously, invite everyone you know. This is for everyone interested in understanding their own evolution while being given a powerful framework to understand the world around them. It is a non-religious course strictly about human development.
